About me
Rakinder Rafter (MSc, BSc)
Hello beautiful people! I am a yoga lover and teacher, who specialises in postural adjustment and yoga therapy. As a biologist who has practised yoga for over ten years, I enjoy combining aspects of anatomical science and holistic living within my yoga teaching. To build on my personal experience, I decided to take an authentic teacher training course in India to share my knowledge and enthusiasm to those who wish to learn.
I fully believe that yoga is for all (not just the super flexible!) and personally tailor classes based on individual needs and wants. I take into account that every body is different and aim to work with, not against, the natural flow of an individual, to restore wellbeing. My training in therapeutic yoga helps with ailments such as knee injuries, back pain, hip and pelvic pain, rib cage and spinal misalignments, headaches, and a variety of stress-related problems including insomnia, indigestion and respiratory troubles.
Currently, I teach at Serenity Space (www.serenity-space.co.uk), as well as one-to-one with individuals. You can book onto classes through the contact form or by email/text. Please feel free to get in touch and I hope to yoga with you soon!

About RakinderYoga
RakinderYoga is a multistyle Yoga therapy, combining hatha, ashtanga and vinyasa to align posture, promote breath, and to find inner peace and serenity. It aims to restore physical and mental harmony between mind and body using traditional Indian techniques of pranayama, asanas, meditation and relaxation, to bridge the gap between ancient Yoga and contemporary living.
